Prepare documents such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, ASNs, and others in advance of shipment. Review shipment contents and verify records (manifests, invoices, orders, etc.) are accurate. Record shipment data including weight, charges, damages and discrepancies for reporting, accounting and recordkeeping purposes. Contact carriers to make arrangements and issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials. Manage and execute the Sales Order Backlog for the warehouse on a daily basis. Obtain freight quotes and provides to the Sales team upon request. Manage the put away process and entry of goods into the ERP system so that all stock items are put away by the end of each day. Pack, seal, label and affix shipping documents to prepare materials for shipping. Comply with all safety requirements and maintain a clean work environment.
