Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or listen.
- The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Previous shipping, packaging and handling experience is a plus, but not required
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting
Responsibilities
- Preparing and packaging patient-specific cold, meltable, and room temperature orders for shipment
- Communicating amongst departments to ensure any shipping changes are updated appropriately
- Updating the team when shipping inventory is low on any items used within that department
- Contributes to keeping the assembly and shipping areas clean
