About The Position

We are looking for a dependable Shipping Specialist to join our production team. In this role, you will prepare, package, and ship finished goods to customers while ensuring accuracy, quality, and on-time delivery. You will work closely with production, warehouse, and customer-facing teams to move materials throughout the facility, maintain shipping records, and support an efficient shipping process.

Requirements

• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment
• Ability to perform visual inspections and verify shipment accuracy

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous warehouse, shipping, production, or material handling experience
• Forklift experience or willingness to become forklift certified
• Experience using hand and power tools

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, and ship finished goods to customers
• Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
• Move materials throughout the facility as needed
• Follow established procedures for receiving, material storage, order picking, and order staging
• Capture and maintain shipping information and documentation
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and effectively
• Build and prepare shipping containers using hand and power tools
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
• Ensure materials are handled and stored properly
• Verify shipments for accuracy and completeness before shipment
• Identify and report damaged materials, defective parts, or shipping issues
• Work with internal and external customers to answer questions and resolve problems
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail and quality
• Meet productivity and performance expectations
• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
• Participate in continuous improvement activities
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance
• Assist with other production and shipping duties as assigned
