About The Position

As a Shipping Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of our operations, helping ensure products move accurately and efficiently through our shipping and receiving processes. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to support inventory accuracy, customer satisfaction, and on-time delivery while contributing to solutions that advance mobility, improve wellbeing, and enhance modern life.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; additional specialized training in shipping, warehousing, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
Up to three months of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately process documentation and data entries.
Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Basic math skills, including the ability to convert units of measure and perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a positive, customer-focused attitude.
Ability to safely lift materials and perform physical tasks within the requirements of the role.

Nice To Haves

Previous shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment.
Forklift operating experience.
Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Experience within a medical device manufacturing organization.
Experience using QAD or another Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and shipping carrier portals.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate shipping documents, product labels, and related records to support timely customer shipments.
Verify finished goods, packaging, and labeling requirements before shipment to ensure compliance with internal and customer specifications.
Complete shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions accurately within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Manage finished goods inventory and overstock materials to maintain inventory accuracy and warehouse organization.
Receive incoming deliveries, inspect documentation, and process receipts in accordance with established procedures.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, quality requirements, and safety standards in all daily activities.
Support packaging, labeling, bagging, and other fulfillment activities as business needs require.
Assist with inventory counts, sample requests, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.
