About The Position

This role is responsible for managing incoming shipments, preparing distribution paperwork, and maintaining inventory records. The position involves physical tasks such as lifting and operating material handling equipment, and requires adherence to plant safety rules and good housekeeping practices. The work environment can vary in climate, and the individual must be able to work with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Clerical ability required.
• Ability to operate several vehicles including material handling (training is provided, tow motor included).
• Verifiable clean driving record.
• Must have a valid Ohio driver’s license.
• Must be able to work flexible hours with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds regularly.

Nice To Haves

• Self-starter a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify counts on all incoming shipments.
• Prepare all necessary paperwork for distribution of materials throughout the plant.
• Enter all incoming deliveries into the Solomon system.
• Filing of all purchase orders and balances on purchase orders.
• Responsible for filling out all requisitions for department.
• Bending, lifting of various weights involved.
• Maintain good housekeeping with dock, storage areas, and equipment use.
• Perform all other duties as assigned/requested by management.
• Follow all plant safety rules.
