About The Position
Responsible for receiving all incoming material in a timely, efficient manner and ensuring the product coincides with all applicable shipping documents.
Requirements
- Ability to verify quality of a product
- Good organizational skills.
- Basic PC skills with good working knowledge of WM.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds consistently.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work, contribute and succeed in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Correctly receive and track parts using the RF system.
- Ensure parts have not incurred any shipping damage and are quality compliant.
- Completing proper material handling documentation (i.e. skid tags).
- Perform on-the-job training as needed.
- Responsible for daily 6S activities, such as housekeeping, maintaining an organized and safe work area, and any appropriate paperwork/check sheets.
- Demonstrate a commitment to working in a safety culture by working safely and correcting unsafe be conditions within assigned work area.
- Work assigned overtime when necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
