About The Position
This position is responsible for all day-to-day responsibilities in the warehouse while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 6 months work experience withing the last 12 months documented in work history.
- Minimum of 3 years of Standup/lift truck driving (forklift)
- Documented
- ATTN Prior Tyson Workers: Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 90 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
- Must be willing and able to lift 80 lbs on a daily basis
- The Team Member will work on you feed for a period of 12 hours
- The Team Member will bend continuously throughout the shift
- The Team Member will work in hot or cold environment
Responsibilities
- Load/unload semi-trucks
- Maintain the general upkeep and cleanliness of the shipping and receiving equipment
- Complete necessary documentation
- Shipping and Receiving Hilo Driver responsibilities are but not limited to loading semi-truck with product to be shipped
- Performing any necessary use of the fork truck equipment for any reasons deemed necessary by production, sanitation, QA, or maintenance
- Maintaining the general upkeep and cleanliness of the company lift truck
- Maintaining documentation
- Maintaining the cleanliness of all warehouses
- Organizing and rotating all stored raw materials and finished goods in accordance with FIFO
- Ability to obtain Hi Lo and scissor lift license
- Able to write legibly and perform simple mathematical functions
- Able to read and follow written instructions
- Able to follow verbal instructions and able to communicate effectively
- Must be willing to complete all required training for the job.
- Ability to obtain Chauffer’s license and DOT medical card, driving record determined acceptable for driving company vehicles
- Ability to properly execute all SAP shipping and receiving functions
- Ability to perform routine physical inventories, computer skills
