Requirements

• 0-2 years in precision tooling industry specific to logistics import/export activities, materials management and/or shipping, receiving functions
• Exceptional active listening, verbal, and written communication
• Behavior management, and problem-solving methodology
• Exceptional and extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP, and Lotus Notes
• Detail oriented and skilled in understanding troubleshooting, process workflow
• Positive, ‘Can do’ attitude and approach

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming shipments and verifies contents for correctness. Key contact to process any corrections needed and ensures communication to appropriate departments and customer is complete. Applies customer material ID for shipment
• Prepares data through completion of goods received including damaged or shortages: routes good to proper departments
• Counts inventory and ensures accurate records are updated and processed. Resolves differences through viable recommendations to Team Leader
• Other duties as assigned by Team Leader
• Ensure work area and equipment are maintained, organized and clean to Mapal standards
• Exceed and exhibit all Mapal Inc. behaviors as defined by policy, procedure and standards
• Actively participates in all cross-functional team projects and assignments as directed by Manufacturing Director
• Additional responsibilities as needs present
