Shipping/Receiving Support - 2nd Shift
About The Position
NABRICO Marine Products is searching for a 2nd Shift Shipping/Receiving Support in our Ashland City, TN barge manufacturing plant. NABRICO Marine Products is a leading manufacturer of barges used to transport cargo on U.S. inland waterways. NABRICO Marine Products manufactures dry cargo barges, including flat-deck and hopper barges, that are used to transport a variety of products including grain, coal, and aggregates. NABRICO Marine Products also manufactures tank barges that carry petroleum, fertilizer, ethanol, chemicals, and other liquid cargoes. It is the largest U.S. manufacturer of fiberglass hopper barge covers used primarily on grain barges. Additionally, NABRICO Marine Products provides a full line of deck hardware to the marine industry, including hatches, castings, and winches for towboats and dock facilities.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience in Material Planning/Scheduling role.
- Ability to read material plans.
- Knowledge of computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work with many levels within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming production and MRO material.
- Issue production materials.
- Distribute MRO material to the plant.
- Ship materials outside of plant.
- Storage of incoming production material.
- Material planning/scheduling.
- Work with plant production on material issues, shortages/excess.
- Maintain shortage lists.
- Inspect material according to procedures.
- Monitor inventory and conduct physical inventory.
- Cycle counts.
