About The Position

Serving two primary markets – passenger vehicle and commercial truck – Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.Job PurposeThis position is located in Napoleon, Ohio. The facility is a Dana Final Assembly plant for the Ford Bronco and Ranger products.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required. College degree or some college preferred.
  • 3+ years in manufacturing experience. Union experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft word and excel.
  • MRP system experience (SAP)
  • Leadership – experience leading, managing, 5+ associates
  • Safety conscious – involved, lead, completed manufacturing safety courses.
  • Quality conscious – involved, lead corrective actions and countermeasure improvements.
  • Complete team player possessing excellent communication skills within all levels within the facility. Experience leading meetings and staying on task.
  • Planning, performing, improving, and completing a multitude of tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ability to work all 3 shifts.
  • Experience in bar code systems and RF trackers.
  • Managing workers in an union environment
  • Experience in executing improvement plans and project work (analysis, rank priority, develop, track, complete)

Responsibilities

  • Plans and directs activities and daily operations of Shipping/Receiving personnel.
  • Coordinate all outbound shipments with personnel.
  • Excellent customer communication skills.
  • Manage all inbound shipments
  • Oversees and corrects cycle counts, discrepancies, and inventory accuracy.
  • Plans, implements, improves material storage, layout and min/max replenishment levels.
  • Oversees forklift upkeep & maintenance.
  • Provides direction and feedback participation for label printing, receipts, and ASN accuracy.
  • Coordinate and maintain accurate records for all outbound shipments of work in process materials.
  • Verify and resolve any receiving issues using the system generated reports and inbound paperwork.
  • Maintaining ISO/TS certification in all aspects of the material handling flow process.
  • Other duties as assigned by Management.
