About The Position

This role is responsible for the efficient and accurate handling of finished products, from loading and transporting them from the plant to the warehouse, to managing inventory transactions and preparing shipments. The position requires a basic understanding of computer systems, the ability to read and interpret shipping documents, and proficiency in operating a forklift and box truck. Key responsibilities include inventory management, packaging, shipping preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

Basic understanding of AS400.
Ability to read and understand pick tickets.
Ability to browse stock location database.
Ability to operate/drive a box truck.
Ability to utilize loading docks.

Nice To Haves

Forklift operation experience.

Responsibilities

Load finished product from plant and transport to warehouse, and unload at warehouse.
Enter finished good transactions into the computer system and verify inventory locations.
Read and understand pick tickets and browse stock location database to determine availability and location of stock.
Remove/transfer product from stock manually or with a forklift in preparation for packaging/shipping, utilizing first-in, first-out practice.
Package material in accordance with customer specifications.
Package material for export and prepare finished product for shipment.
Maintain and distribute paperwork, including audits, reports, logs, records, and certifications of conformance.
Update computer database regarding stock location.
Operate and drive a box truck and utilize loading docks.
Load truck(s) per order(s).
Maintain a clean and orderly workplace/area.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
