About The Position

Protein Solutions is dedicated to creating value for our pet food partners by delivering quality ingredients and supply chain solutions. Our plant operates 24/7, offering Shipping and Receiving positions on various shifts. The schedule allows for working half the year, providing a great work-life balance. Scheduled shifts may include nights and weekends; additional overtime may be required.

Requirements

Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
Must have the ongoing right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Demonstrate knowledge of efficient and safe manufacturing operations.
Demonstrate proficiency in Word and Excel.
Must have organizational skills and be detail oriented.
Be able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
Basic understanding of inventory control software.
Must have a high school diploma.
Must be able to complete pre-employment drug screen including THC and background check.
Minimum of 2 years of shipping and receiving experience.
Minimum of 2 years of forklift and/or yard dog experience.

Responsibilities

Manage finished goods and raw material inventories through inventory control software.
Data entry in Excel and other software.
Scaling trucks.
Safely operate a forklift and yard truck.
Receive raw materials and unload to cooler.
Load and bill shipments according to customer specifications.
Accurate completion of all department paperwork.
Perform detailed inspections for forklifts and yard truck.
Provide backup support to all departments as needed.
Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
Ability to work as a member of a cross-functional team.
