About The Position

Shipping & Receiving manages the daily inflow and outflow, including loading, unloading, inspecting, and distributing goods in warehouse as well as packing and labeling outgoing shipments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend a variety of instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Strong analytical skills and practical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Working with management and making presentations will be required.
• Self-motivated and ability to work well with others.
• Must have a valid drivers license and good driving record
• While in the shop safety glasses or prescription glasses are required.

Nice To Haves

• 1 – 3 years of experience in manufacturing and operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise and supplies
• Prepare, create and preserve products for shipment to customers
• Contact carrier and arrange product to be picked up
• Responsible for maintaining and keeping finished goods inventory in orderly manner
• Responsible for always keeping adequate supply of shipping materials and supplies on hand
• Operate Forklift
• Driving for local pickups and deliveries
• Perform related tasks as directed by supervisor
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
