About The Position

Toledo Tool & Die is adding a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to our team to support our continued growth. This is a full-time position based in Maumee, Ohio. Must be available to work overtime (daily, weekends & some holidays).

A high school diploma or equivalent.
At least five (5) years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is needed for this occupation.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Software (Word, Excel, Power Point), ERP Software
Meet or exceed the job requirements of the job.
Identified candidates must be able to work overtime (daily, weekends and holidays).

Nice To Haves

Preferably with an OEM or Tier I/II supplier in the automotive environment.

Responsibilities

Utilize positive employee techniques to lead, coordinate and develop Materials Department personnel to support production, forecast demand and/or create supply plans to ensure availability of materials or products.
Plan work assignments and equipment allocations to meet operational goals.
Review orders, production schedules or shipping/receiving notices to determine work sequences and material shipping dates, types, volumes or destinations.
Prepare documents, such as work orders, bill of lading, or shipping orders to route materials.
Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages or discrepancies for report accounting or recordkeeping purposes.
Determine shipping method for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes & rates.
Correspond with established representatives to resolve problems, such as damage, shortages or nonconformance to specifications.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Authority to stop production in the event unsafe parts or conditions appear.
Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor and/or Manager, which may be outside the scope of responsibilities noted above.
