About The Position

The Shipping & Receiving Supervisor is responsible for supervising a small group of workers who confirm & record the receipt of shipments; prepare items for shipping; load and unload trucks; and transport materials to and from departments in a manufacturing setting. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures and is responsible to ensure the team adheres to them. The Shipping & Receiving group is characterized by highly transactional and repetitive processes.

Requirements

• Prior experience using an ERP System (SAP, Syteline, Etc.)
• Experience using Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Previous experience supervising employees
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing and/or Warehouse
• Strong communication skills (Verbal & written)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects
• Highly organized
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment
• Minimum of one year of experience supervising employees
• Certified to operate a forklift

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in similar type role
• Previous experience with SAP

Responsibilities

• Ensures adherence to departmental policies & procedures
