Shipping & Receiving Specialist
About The Position
Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have several labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Shipping & Receiving Specialist opportunity at NDX Affinity located in Louisville, KY. The regular scheduled hours for this position are from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time. Requirements
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Data entry and computer skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Some billing experience, preferred
Responsibilities
- Able to perform all functions/responsibilities of Shipping and Receiving Clerk and has the ability and responsibility to schedule cases and/or invoice cases.
- Receives case, opens case and disinfects case for production.
- Packs and ships case for delivery through local source or national carrier.
- Performs the scheduling function for each case Through LIS enter demographics and customer information Print preference notes matching to case.
- Move case into production area.
- Invoices cases and assists with billing questions or issues
- Scanning of paperwork for each case for electronic storage
- Running, fulfilling and shipping daily customer fulfillments
- Daily stocking of Shipping & Receiving supplies
- Sort paperwork for scanning
- Maintenance duties to include, but not limited to... Change soap in dispensers, Trash removal, Emptying boil out, changing sink traps in production
- Customer service- outbound & inbound calls
- All other duties as assigned.
