About The Position
Boeing Distribution, Inc. is seeking an Entry Shipping/Receiving Specialist to join their team in Chandler, AZ. This role involves assisting with the verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, processing documentation, packaging shipments, and maintaining inventory of supplies. The position requires physical tasks such as lifting and carrying cartons, and utilizing various tools and equipment for inventory management and order fulfillment.
Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk on cement floors for long periods of time throughout the workday.
- Ability to fluently read, write and speak English.
- Basic Computer Knowledge.
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements (U.S. Person status required).
Nice To Haves
- Ability to lift and carry cartons weighing up to 35 lbs. and manage cartons in excess of 35 lbs. utilizing available safety tools.
Responsibilities
- Assists with initial verification for identification and damage on incoming/outgoing receivers/shippers.
- Processes receiving/shipping documentation.
- Packages and processes shipments.
- Assists with maintaining inventory of shipping/receiving supplies.
- Places parts in proper location after identifying and verifying part numbers.
- Picks and fills orders using a laptop computer.
- Receives parts and disburses to proper bins.
- Matches paperwork to box and prepares orders for billing/shipping.
- Supports reaching Departmental & Company Key Results.
