About The Position

As a Shipping/Receiving Specialist Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate shipping and receiving of materials within our warehouse operations. Your work will directly support our supply chain and production processes by managing inbound and outbound shipments with precision and care. You will report directly to our Warehouse Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Muncie, IN location on an On-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the overall operational efficiency and safety of our warehouse by maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and facilitating smooth logistics processes that support Honeywell’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

1+ years of experience in shipping and receiving within a manufacturing or warehouse environment
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods
Experience with inventory management systems
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment

Responsibilities

Manage the receiving and shipping of materials, ensuring accuracy in documentation and timely processing
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials as needed
Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reporting discrepancies promptly
