Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2-3 years of experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing environment.
  • Attention to verbal and written detail.
  • Excellent computer skills required.
  • Must comply with all rules and regulations for the shipment of Hazardous Materials in accordance with Henkel policy.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using ERP warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operates pallet jack and forklift in a safe and effective manner.
  • Remove materials from stock according to the batch numbers that have been approved and received from the QC Lab and stage for shipment as instructed.
  • Prepare containers for shipment according to customer specifications by palletizing, banding, stretch wrapping, etc.
  • Record shipments and warehouse movements using LOGOS bar-coding system.
  • Must be knowledgeable in enterprise resource planning (ERP) shipping procedures including the movement of inventories.
  • Finalizes paperwork to move and/or accompany receivables or shipments, i.e., inland bills of lading, pack slips, hazardous declaration forms, completely and accurately to avoid penalties/fines.
