Requirements

  • Ability to operate or learn sit-down forklifts (single and double).
  • Ability to read, interpret, and scan pallet identification numbers accurately.
  • Comfortable working in cold storage/freezer environments (as low as -20°F) with company-provided PPE and freezer gear.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. (may vary by facility).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with varying noise levels.

Nice To Haves

  • RF experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Use forklift and pallet jack to move products on and off trucks while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Verify inventory and visually inspect shipments for quality.
  • Operate sit-down forklifts (single and double forks) to move product throughout the warehouse.
  • Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments safely and efficiently.
  • Read and follow computerized work orders to determine quantities and types of products to be shipped.
  • Locate and pick requested items within the warehouse using RF scanning equipment.
  • Inspect pallets and products for damages or quality issues and report findings to leadership.
  • Pack, stage, and label materials/pallets for shipping while verifying counts and accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at the end of each shift.
  • Work with other machinery and material handling equipment as needed.
  • Support overall warehouse operations and team objectives.
