About The Position

Ensures shipping and receiving operations are performed in compliance with departmental policies and procedures, company standards, and applicable regulations. Primary job responsibility is to oversee the receipt, inspection, documentation, storage, and distribution of goods for casino and hotel operations. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate shipping and receiving records, coordinating deliveries, monitoring inventory movement, and ensuring supplies and materials are available to support business needs. This position also ensures the confidentiality, security, and accuracy of purchasing, receiving, and inventory records, and promotes positive guest and team member relations. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, and outstanding guest service to fellow team members, guests, vendors, and delivery partners is expected. Regular attendance is required, and on occasion, earlier, later, or weekend hours may be required based on delivery schedules, inventory demands, project deadlines, or operational needs. A neat, well-groomed professional appearance is essential at all times.

Requirements

  • An associate degree in business management, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field and/or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of leadership or supervisory experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory control, or related operations is preferred, and two (2) years of experience in a high-volume receiving or materials management environment is preferred.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products and able to learn about inventory, purchasing, and receiving systems.
  • This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and follow through on work assignments.
  • High-level interpersonal skills are required to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
  • Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing, proofing, and maintaining records, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
  • Must be flexible with schedule and able to work any day including weekends and holidays, and any shift (day/swing/grave), as needed.
  • Excellent communication and guest relation skills are essential.
  • Able to learn and follow detailed policies and procedures.
  • Excellent reconciliation and materials management of computer system skills required.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years old and have the ability to obtain and retain a Washington State Class III Gaming License; successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen; and have and maintain a driving record that at least meets the minimum requirements established by Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel vehicle insurance provider.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to the Shipping & Receiving Team while maintaining a positive work environment where process improvement is encouraged.
  • Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely, accurate, and secure handling of incoming and outgoing materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and monitor team members during receiving, inspection, storage, transfer, and delivery processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and procedural integrity.
  • Verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, invoices, and internal documentation; investigate, document, and report discrepancies, shortages, and damaged goods as required.
  • Ensure accurate entry, tracking, and maintenance of receiving logs, shipping documents, transfer records, and inventory-related documentation.
  • Coordinate deliveries with departments, vendors, and carriers to support operational needs and minimize disruptions.
  • Monitor inventory movement, stock organization, and storage practices to maintain orderly, safe, and efficient warehouse and receiving areas.
  • Hire, train, coach, and support the ongoing development of shipping and receiving team members to ensure consistent performance and compliance with company standards.
  • Complete performance evaluations and corrective action and disciplinary processes in accordance with company policy.
  • Ensure adherence to safety procedures, key control requirements, dock and storage access protocols, and equipment-use guidelines at all times.
  • Coordinate schedules and work assignments to maintain proper coverage for deliveries, stocking, internal distribution, and special projects.
  • Manage supplies, equipment functionality, and maintenance logs; coordinate service calls and document maintenance issues as needed.
  • Maintain the highest level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism when handling sensitive operational, purchasing, and inventory information.
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory, and related operational activities assigned to support business needs.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
