About The Position
Responsible for all inbound and outbound logistics, including raw material, direct material, MRO, and ATF/NFA-controlled product. Controls documentation, daily interactions with carriers, and inventory management for finished goods, accessories, and soft goods.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen due to ITAR regulations
- 3+ years relevant experience in manufacturing or distribution environment
- Able to lift 50 lbs. on occasion
- Requires constant standing, walking, sitting, and bending throughout the workday.
Responsibilities
- Verify all inbound and outbound shipments are properly labeled and the required documents are available with each shipment.
- Receive incoming shipments from vendors and customers (matching POs where possible)
- Count and check items to ensure the correct items have been received.
- Supervises shipping/receiving clerk
- Prepare packaging materials to safely ship items.
- Packing items for shipment.
- Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Maintain inventory of finished goods inventory within the shipping/receiving department.
- Utilize the shipping system as well as the ERP system to complete shipping/receiving activities.
- Communicates professionally and effectively to all levels of the organization
