About The Position

Our market presence is defined and our strategies uniquely optimal with tremendous momentum. BDS is looking for an entry level Shipping & Receiving/Inventory Clerk. This position will be working within the Marlboro warehouse and is trained to print out sales orders to ship out supplies to customers and BDS personnel. UPS Worldship is used daily to ship out small parcels. For LTL shipments, we primarily use Estes or R&L Carriers which would be for shipping equipment to customers. The Shipping & Receiving/Inventory Clerk will need to be able to physically check all incoming shipments and receive them accurately using our ERP system. The clerk will pull parts from inventory for BDS service technicians daily to either stage on our technician shelf or ship them out to a residence. The inventory clerk will need to accurately complete physical inventory cycle counts for the parts and toners in our cage on a weekly basis to ensure proper inventory control. Travel is required if deliveries are needed for down machines at customer sites. Monday through Friday 7:30-4:00 PM

Requirements

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
  • Valid driver’s license required, with a clean driving record and valid vehicle insurance
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
  • Must be able to pull, lift, reach and transport equipment parts and boxes
  • Reliable transportation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to adapt and work independently

Responsibilities

  • Accurately ship using UPS Worldship according to what the sales order states
  • Accurately receive in supplies and equipment
  • Ability to ship equipment through LTL companies
  • Ability to use ERP systems, computers, and excel files
  • Keep accurate inventory of parts and supplies
  • Properly add equipment on our shared Excel spreadsheet for all stock
  • Operate manual pallet jacks/ability to obtain forklift certification
  • Maintain professional appearance, and personal conduct always
  • Assist in assuring a safe work environment
  • Adhere to warehouse standard operating procedures
  • Pays attention to detail, is dependable, productive, works well in a team setting
  • Warehouse cleanliness and upkeep
  • New Equipment Builds when there is downtime
