About The Position

While reporting to the Shipping Manager, you will be responsible for all shipping and receiving duties listed below and as instructed by your supervisor. Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success. You must have a proven record of success in a fast-paced environment. You must have the ability to work with various teams, organizational skills and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Must have a FORKLIFT LICENSE.
  • Must be able to travel back and forth from Main building to Shipping building.
  • Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions in English
  • Good math skills.
  • Working independently and managing multiple tasks simultaneously is needed.
  • Knowledge of our products and their quality requirements.
  • Being reliable, having good initiative, being committed, and being quality focused is a must.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years’ experience in driving a forklift (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Support and/or lead safety initiatives for department.
  • Perform safety audits and training and participate in safety kick off meetings.
  • Assist operations in directing and implementing physical inventory counts of raw materials, work in process, and finished goods.
  • Assist in cycle counting and develop and analyze cycle count data to find root causes and implement process/transaction/audits to improve accuracy and eliminate errors.
  • Summarize inventory transaction data for evaluation.
  • Develop procedures for the set-up process to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Assist the Shipping Lead.
  • Assist data entry clerical activities.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean and organized work area.
  • Work outside in inclement weather when sealing trucks.
