About The Position

The HZ-Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods within the warehouse and shipping areas. This position is responsible for operating forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials, ensuring that shipments are processed accurately and on time. Requirements

• Valid forklift operator certification or license in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or shipping/receiving environment.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely and efficiently.
• Basic understanding of warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift operation and adherence to safety protocols are applied daily to ensure the safe and efficient handling of materials.
• Attention to detail is crucial when verifying shipment contents and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Communication skills facilitate effective collaboration with team members and supervisors to coordinate shipping and receiving activities.

• Previous experience in a shipping and receiving role.
