About The Position

Griffon Aerospace, a leader in the Unmanned Aerial System industry, is seeking a Shipping & Receiving/Driver/General Laborer. This role involves picking up, transporting, and dropping off various packages using a company-provided vehicle. Additionally, the position includes performing general tasks such as inventory, facilities, and custodial maintenance. Griffon Aerospace is a growing Madison, AL based small business looking for innovative individuals to join their team and contribute to providing products and services that support the American Warfighter.

Requirements

Good driving record
Ability to pass forklift operation training
High School graduate or equivalent
Ability to stand for long periods working in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to lift 50lbs often and work standing up for a full 8 hr. shift

Previous delivery experience
Previous forklift operation experience
Previous experience with hand and power tools

Responsibilities

Deliver and pick up shipments from various vendors
Receive, register and distribute packages and letters
Maintain the company stockroom through organizing, cleaning and cataloging items on a regular basis
Schedule large outgoing shipments
Loading and unloading freight
Daily custodial duties
