About The Position

As an employee-owner, you will report to the Warehouse Supervisor and be responsible for performing shipping and receiving duties. This role requires verifying and keeping accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments. Daily tasks include unpacking, examining, and routing incoming shipments, rejecting damaged items, recording shortages, and corresponding with the Group Lead to rectify any damages or shortages. The company, SRC Technologies Group, is a Remanufacturing Solutions Provider focused on working closely with Original Equipment Manufacturers to build successful rotating electrical and electronic offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Perform shipping and receiving duties.
  • Verify and keep accurate records on shipments (incoming and outgoing).
  • Unpack, examine, and route incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
  • Operate a fork truck to lift/move or hoist receiving materials from the receiving area to storage or work area.
  • Stock shelves using FIFO methodology.
  • Count incoming parts accurately.
  • Participate in and support the principles of Open Book Management and recognize the responsibilities of being an owner of the company.
  • Follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.
  • Maintain exemplary work attendance.
  • Combine like parts into locations.
  • Cycle count.
  • Participate in the processes of continuous improvement.
  • Maintain area housekeeping.
  • Effectively perform similar positions on the floor at any point in time.
  • Promote a positive working environment in order to achieve the organization’s goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
