About The Position

This role is responsible for performing shipping and receiving duties, supporting the shipment of products and the receipt of goods and supplies used in the production or storage of goods destined for sale. The individual must report any defective materials or questionable conditions to the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor and perform other duties as required. The position requires the ability to work independently, use logic and reason, adjust to changing variables, engage in constructive debate, communicate effectively, anticipate consequences, be persistent, work harmoniously with others, plan and organize work efficiently, accept responsibilities, act as a leader, operate proactively, manage projects, analyze data, prepare reports, be flexible, manage multiple assignments, and understand timelines and critical paths. Additionally, the role involves promoting health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as adhering to the quality system.

Nice To Haves

  • AS-400 or other enterprise-wide system experience preferred
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous Forklift experience/ certification
  • Previous experience in a production/ warehouse environment

  • Promotes the quality system through adhering to the elements of and being familiar with the philosophy, quality statement, quality manual, and procedures.
