About The Position
George Gee Cadillac Kia is hiring a dependable Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support its Parts Department in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. The role is suited to someone who values organization, accuracy, and reliability in a fast-paced dealership environment. The clerk helps keep parts operations running smoothly and supports internal and customer orders while maintaining inventory accuracy and a clean, safe work area. Requirements
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift, move, and carry parts and packages as needed.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
- Dependable work ethic and commitment to accuracy.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory, or automotive parts experience is preferred.
- Forklift experience is a plus but is not required.
- A clean driving record is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts and merchandise shipments.
- Process and stock inventory accurately in designated locations.
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company standards.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper labeling and organization.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory control procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate with Parts Department staff to fulfill internal and customer orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Identify and report discrepancies, damaged goods, or inventory concerns.
- Follow dealership procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
