About The Position

Pregis is hiring a Shipping/Receiving Clerk for their Warehouse department. This role is responsible for the shipping and receiving of all goods into the facility and maintaining the Shipping and Receiving department by properly organizing and facilitating the movement of product. Requirements

Willingness to learn and take directions confidently.
Ability to use battery operated hand tools.
Ability to safely drive a forklift.
Basic mathematic functions required.
High School Diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Shipping and Receiving experience preferred.
Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Observes safety and security procedures.
Prepares outgoing shipments by crating and securing product.
Uses battery-operated hand tools.
Safely drives a forklift to stage material, load trucks, unload trucks, and transfer material within the plant and within departments.
Maintains a clean and organized working environment daily to ensure product can be located easily and efficiently.
Maintains essential supplies for shipments.
Coordinates organization of the work area.
Performs daily checks of inventory levels in work cells to provide information for any necessary adjustments.
Coordinates scrap material storage.
Communicates discrepancies to the Shipping Lead.
Coordinates storage locations.
Moves scrap into the open-top dumpster.
Receives materials/inventory systematically in the computer system to prepare for put away.
Keeps work areas clean following guidelines.
Completes forklift training and certification after being hired.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Works well with others as a great team player.
