About The Position
KAM Plastics Corp is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented 3rd Shift Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team. The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving, verifying, storing, and shipping materials that support our manufacturing operations. This role ensures accurate inventory transactions, timely shipments, and safe operation of material handling equipment while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
- Strong computer skills; ERP or inventory management system experience preferred.
- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload trucks.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials.
- Prepare, package, and ship customer orders accurately.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting.
- Enter and track inventory transactions using ERP/inventory systems.
- Follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory practices.
- Maintain shipping and receiving documentation.
- Investigate and report inventory discrepancies.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
