About The Position

We’re hiring a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our warehouse team in Jurupa Valley. In this role, you’ll help keep daily operations running smoothly by coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, assisting drivers, preparing shipping documents, maintaining accurate inventory records, and working closely with our warehouse and transportation teams. If you have warehouse or logistics experience, work well in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in getting the details right, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Forklift certification or forklift experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with drivers, vendors, customers, and team members.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

  • 1–2 years of warehouse, logistics, shipping, or receiving experience.
  • Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Previous shipping documentation and data-entry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage driver check-in and check-out.
  • Assign dock doors and apply trailer seals/glad locks as required.
  • Verify inbound and outbound shipment documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Generate Bills of Lading (BOLs), shipping labels, and other documents using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Coordinate and schedule inbound deliveries with vendors and carriers.
  • Assemble orders and prepare products for shipment.
  • Track and account for sealed trailers upon arrival and departure.
  • Record shipment details, including weights, freight charges, and trailer capacity utilization.
  • Identify and report damaged products, shortages, and shipment discrepancies.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly shipping and receiving reports.
  • Audit warehouse supply inventory and communicate replenishment needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and support inventory control activities.
  • Communicate with warehouse operations, transportation, drivers, vendors, and office staff.
  • Follow company safety policies, SQF food safety requirements, and applicable compliance standards.
  • Participate in safety meetings and incident reviews as required.
  • Assist with special projects and support the team during peak operational periods.
  • Be available for scheduled holidays and overtime when business needs require.
