About The Position
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk, reporting to the Service/Production Manager, is responsible for filling all orders, verification and receiving product from vendors, and maintaining cycle counts. They will assist walk-in customers with their pickups and occasionally pickup or deliver product to customers and vendors. This role will work with inside and outside sales teams to ensure timely shipping/receiving of all product and arranging for the transportation of products. They will also assist in a variety of warehouse duties.
Requirements
- Computer skills; including Microsoft Office, UPS WorldShip, and FedEx Online
- Valid driver’s license and ability to be covered by company insurance.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience.
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading all trucks.
- Inventory cycle counting.
- Picking orders.
- Scheduling freight trucks.
- Repetitive lifting and moving of heavy objects.
- Receive and verify parts against purchase order.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures.
