About The Position

Keller Technology Corporation (KTC) is a global supplier of manufacturing and engineering services, with facilities located in Buffalo, New York, and Charlotte, North Carolina. We specialize in four areas including custom machinery, precision fabrication, automated systems for medical device manufacturing, and contract manufacturing. Keller delivers sophisticated manufacturing solutions for many industries including Engineered Materials, Semiconductors, Robotics, Chemicals, Medical and Life Science, Energy Research, and Industrial Technologies. We are currently seeking to fill the following position for our Buffalo location. Shipping and Receiving Clerk General Description: Responsible for processing the receipt of materials, categorizing/storing/moving of materials and arranging for shipment of materials from KTC. Adhere to company policies and ISO standards

Requirements

• Understanding of laws and regulations associated with shipping goods and materials.
• Understand Import and Export controls regarding outgoing shipments, including proper paperwork necessary for international shipments.
• Familiarity with shipping software, UPS, Fed-Ex, etc.
• Basic computer knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
• Minimum of 2 years shipping and receiving experience required
• Minimum high school graduate

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Verify that packing slips match the contents of incoming and outgoing shipments (Quantities, identification, etc.)
• Inspect goods received for damage and verify packaging is sound upon arrival at KTC
• Tag all parts correctly, verifying quantities and part numbers
• Verify that all other necessary paperwork is provided
• Carefully pack all products, adhering to any standards/requests from customer or requestor
• Clarify shipment method (UPS, LTL, Dedicated)
• Adhere to shipping standards provided/requested by other departments
