The Shipping/Receiving Clerk coordinates receipts and returns of materials ordered by the company ensuring that shipments are as ordered. This position will have the responsibility of distribution of goods and mail within the company, opens packages as necessary, inspects for damage, and checks quantities received against purchase orders, assuring shortages are indicated on shipping papers, and overages returned to vendor, distributes goods and mail to include truck shipments, and deliveries; all mail distribution; and runner duties for deliveries and pick-ups as assigned by Purchasing Manager, receives shipments and inputs into purchasing/receiving system.
