They are currently hiring a full-time Shipping & Receiving Clerk / Parts Warehouse Associate for their Hicksville location. Requirements
- Previous automotive dealership experience preferred.
- Shipping & receiving or warehouse experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and motivated.
- Ability to lift and move automotive parts and materials.
- Team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Desire to learn and grow within the automotive industry.
Responsibilities
- Support daily warehouse and automotive parts department operations by ensuring accurate shipping, receiving, inventory organization, and parts handling.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming automotive parts shipments.
- Compare shipments to invoices and bills of lading.
- Prepare outgoing shipments and package items securely.
- Label and organize shipments accurately.
- Route incoming inventory to the appropriate departments.
- Maintain warehouse organization and inventory accuracy.
- Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and warehouse equipment as needed.
- Process damaged, returned, or unsold parts.
- Pick up and deliver automotive parts from wholesale warehouses.
- Maintain stock levels and ensure proper storage procedures.
- Assist with general warehouse and parts department operations.
