A Day in the Life Your day might begin with a quick team huddle to review incoming shipments and priorities for the day. As a Shipping/Receiving Clerk and delivery driver at IBVI’s Joint Base Charleston BSC, you’ll unload deliveries, carefully inspect items, log them into our ERP system, and deliver products directly to customers on the base. You’ll spend time organizing inventory in the warehouse, labeling products, and preparing outgoing shipments with care. Whether you're operating a pallet jack or forklift or updating records, your work supports our mission to employ individuals who are blind or visually impaired. Requirements

1–3 years of relevant experience (warehouse or logistics preferred)
Must possess valid driver's license and operate company vehicle
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Operate a pallet jack and forklift, and stand/walk for extended periods of time
Computer proficiency and experience using inventory systems, Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Must be able to pass federal criminal background check and drug screen, and base security requirements

Responsibilities

Receive and inspect incoming shipments, entering them into our ERP system
Prepare products for storage and shipment
Maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation
Perform light marketing of IBVI’s BSC capabilities and products while delivering product to customers
Follow all safety procedures and support a clean, organized workspace
Unload deliveries, carefully inspect items, log them into our ERP system, and deliver products directly to customers on the base
Organize inventory in the warehouse, labeling products, and preparing outgoing shipments with care
