About The Position

Provide materials, shipping and receiving support in order to meet customer needs. This role involves picking, packing, verifying, and put-away support, as well as loading and unloading trailers and providing disposition and transfer of material support. Under supervision, the clerk will process DHL, FedEx, and UPS shipments, accurately and timely completing necessary documents. Responsibilities also include verifying receipts or orders against physical part numbers and quantities, assisting with cycle counts and rack audits, comprehending and following SOPs, adhering to 5S principles, maintaining a safe work environment, meeting daily productivity goals, and participating in Kaizen events and other special projects. Effective communication with associates, supervisors, management, and cross-functional teams is essential, as is supporting daily KPI objectives. Knowledge in the safe handling and distribution of hazardous materials, including general regulatory requirements, is necessary. This position requires supervision and the completion of other duties as required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Forklift equipment certifications and/or operating experience; including use of pallet jack
  • Ability to work with numbers and basic math skills
  • Distribution or Manufacturing environment experience
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language
  • Must be able to look up basic information in Oracle
  • Must be able to provide training, pass minimum proficiency test, if applicable

Responsibilities
