About The Position

Ultra-Poly Corporation is hiring a full-time Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our Warehouse Department in Portland, PA. This position requires previous trailer loading and unloading experience and offers support and training within a unique environment. The role is hands-on and requires a self-starter mindset, with a strong emphasis on safety protocols.

Requirements

Previous trailer loading and unloading experience
Able to work Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
Lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
Standing for an extended period of time
Lift, throw, bend, squat, twist, and reach
Working in both hot and cold conditions
Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the United States without a visa sponsorship
Need to be able to read, write and understand English

Nice To Haves

Basic computer knowledge is a plus
Self-starter mindset
Positive attitude and be willing to assist others when needed

Responsibilities

Load and unload raw material and finished goods trailers
Operate sit-down forklift to move materials around the production floor
Ensure incoming materials and finished materials are correctly labeled and documented (scanned) in the inventory
Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments
Maintains organization of raw and finished materials in a manner that best meets the needs of the floor
Identifies busted parcels, and brings them to production for processing, or repackages for shipping as necessary
Help to scale trucks in and out after hours when needed
Responsible for executing all safety protocols
