The primary purpose of this role is to unload/receive, store, and load/ship purchased goods. Performance must reflect the appropriate level of expertise and achievement of the desired results for the items listed below. This role involves managing the cleanliness of the department and grounds, maintaining a safe working environment by observing all OSHA and Company safety policies, and generating/identifying Corrective Action reports and Opportunities for Improvement reports. Adherence to all ISO requirements and ensuring ISO documentation is current and followed is crucial. The associate will operate a tow motor safely and efficiently, conduct forklift inspections at the beginning of each shift, and report all instances of damages, lost material, or other issues immediately. Keeping management informed of significant issues or developments impacting quality, safety, health, or the environment is also a key responsibility. The role includes performing physical inventory and verification of product condition as requested, and other duties as assigned by the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor.
