About The Position

The shipping and receiving operator position verify and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment or internal processing by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards. The hourly range for this position is $20.00 to $22.00 per hour. Shift: Monday Hours: 7:00 AM Essential Responsibilities: Performs incoming inspection of various parts or components. Receive incoming goods, confirm accuracy and route appropriately to shop floor. Assures all quality control documents are complete and included in outgoing shipments. Ensures that materials shipped and received are verified against pertinent documentation. Responsible for the timely processing of expedited deliveries. Mains a safe work environment by adhering to and enforcing safe work practices and following safety practice. Safely operates equipment including forklift, and other required equipment. Performs all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods. Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
  • Familiar with IS09001, AS9100, Nadcap and Quality Management Systems.
  • This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
  • All accepted applications must be U.S. Persons as defined by ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. Person as U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., “Green Card Holder”), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
  • This position requires access to technical data and necessitates that Magellan Aerospace obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
  • As such, hires for this position – except U.S. Citizens, U.S. Permanent Residents, and protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), will be required to go through an export licensing review process.

  • Factory-related experience preferred
