About The Position

This role involves receiving and verifying items, organizing materials in bins or racks, accurately counting items and updating bin cards, pulling items for shipment, deducting from bin cards, preparing items for shipment by boxing, crating, or skidding, completing necessary documentation, and loading trucks. The position requires the use of lift trucks, pendant operated overhead cranes, pneumatic nailers, and strapping machines to perform most tasks.

Requirements

Application must be filled out completely by the Applicant.
Meet all of the Required Essential Job Skills/Experience.
Must be able to work any shift.
Work overtime when required.
Willing to comply with company rules and policies.
Pass pre-employment drug screen.
Must be detailed oriented.
Accurately use tape measure, accurate to 1/16".
Able to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally.
Able to read, write, understand and communicate in English.
Basic math skills.
Must have neat, legible hand writing.
Must have strong clerical skills.
Must have a minimum of one year of forklift operating experience.
Must be able to differentiate between typically red, black, and green control buttons on machinery.

Responsibilities

Receive and verify items.
Put material in bins or racks.
Count items and add to total on bin cards.
Pull items for shipment.
Deduct items from bin cards.
Box, crate, or skid items for shipment.
Complete documentation.
Load trucks.
Use lift trucks, pendant operated overhead crane, pneumatic nailers and strapping machines.
Stock items such as pipe fittings, pipe, tube manufactured from copper nickel and stainless steel.
Match stencils on items with paperwork.
Pull parts from intra-shop or customer orders.
Check in received items, verifying paperwork is correct.
Clean up shops and yards as needed.
Load and unload trucks.
Other duties as required.
