Solution One is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Analyst III for their client located at Fort Benning, GA (Fort Moore, GA). Requirements

  • Possess a secret security clearance prior to beginning support of this effort and maintain said clearance throughout duration of support of this effort.
  • Be eligible to obtain DoD driving privileges within the GSA fleets.
  • Possess at least five years of experience with unit level supply functions and be knowledgeable of the Global Combat Supply Support Army (GCSSA) system.
  • Be a graduate of the Army 92Y or 92A MOS producing school.
  • Advanced knowledge of policies/procedures and required paperwork used for the issue and turn in of property.
  • Be able to perform duties with minimum guidance and infrequent direct supervision.
  • Maintain positive control of and store classified material and equipment.
  • Be able to effectively operate various forms of material handling equipment assigned to the unit.
  • Maintain a clean workspace.
  • Be capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 40 lbs. unassisted.
  • Must possess U.S. Citizenship to apply for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Enter data into multiple databases or spreadsheets and ensure consistency and appropriate cross referencing for both newly entered and previously entered data.
  • Retrieve data and use data to respond to a variety of customer and vendor inquiries.
  • Perform research to determine reasons for patterns of transaction errors and failures.
  • Conduct extensive searches for information pertaining to complex and/or unusual supply transactions and patterns; assemble retrieved information into different formats to meet different requirements; for example, status reports, unmet customer needs, and other similar areas.
  • Maintain files in accordance with applicable Army, Navy, and Department of Defense (DoD) regulations.
  • Proficiently use MS Office application software to maintain data and submit reports of varying types and formats via internal management control databases, spreadsheets, and other reporting tools in a variety of program application software.
  • Make effective use of email correspondence with an expert knowledge of Outlook Email communication programs.
  • Assist the Government staff with ensuring compliance with Army regulations and compatibility with Unit SOP for property accountability and warehouse functions.
  • Provide receiving and shipping support to all material categories and transportation modes including, but not limited to, FedEx, USPS, GOCO Truck and Sprinter Vans.
  • Province storage of equipment to all material categories.
  • Provide packing and marking IAW DoD standards to include sensitive items, weapon systems, CCI and HAZMAT.
  • Manage, receive, store, inventory, issue (via surface and air) and maintain the accountability for standard and nonstandard land, amphibious air mobility systems, communications and electronic devices, weapons, ordnance, Soldier systems and other general support material under heightened OPSEC.
  • Assist the Government with managing receipts, including tracking due in dates in a secure automated accounting system, performing updates to due in/due out reports, and performing research and coordination for nonstandard items.
  • Coordinate transportation, both Government Bills of Lading (GBL) and Commercial Bills of Lading (CBL).
  • Provide a means to electronically file, retrieve and archive supporting documents.
  • Assist the Government by taking actions to ensure that files are maintained and disposed.
  • Prepares equipment and paperwork necessary to facilitate the movement of equipment to the CRP Warehouse, DRMO or designated locations via US Military approved ground or air transport methods/means.
  • Conducts inspections necessary to ensure recoverable/nonexpendable components to major end items are on hand or otherwise accounted for IAW regulatory requirements.
  • Prepares manual hand receipt, lateral transfer or turn in documents and forwards them to the RPBO within 24 hours of the transaction.
  • May be required to help transport or coordinate for the movement of equipment from the user’s location to the appropriate equipment turn in facility for the conduct of technical inspections, classification and/or turn in.
  • May be required to pack, crate, palletize and otherwise prepare equipment for movement via military designated ground/air transport methods.
  • Prepares and provides daily transaction history reports to the RPBO.
