About The Position
Prepares items for shipment using correct methods and records incoming and outgoing packages properly. This role involves verifying orders, preparing items for shipment using various software and methods, assembling outgoing packages, receiving and stocking incoming shipments, and preparing various kits and labels.
Requirements
- Ability to read and write clearly.
- Ability to communicate information and ideas.
- High School degree or equivalent GED.
Nice To Haves
- Courses in typing and business arithmetic preferred.
Responsibilities
- Verifies order from ShipStation and matches up TRF with shipping labels.
- Prepares items for shipment using knowledge of different shipping methods such as ShipStation and UPS.
- Assembles contents of outgoing packages in perfect condition.
- Wraps goods and packages in an envelope or a box depending on the quantity.
- Receives incoming shipments, checks them in, and puts them in their proper place.
- Packs, addresses, and ships materials.
- Prepares waybills and related paperwork for commercial and other shipments.
- Ships out orders using ShipStation and UPS software, and mailing machine.
- Operates computer, mailing machine, and printers.
- Prepares kit components requested by different doctors.
- Assembles and builds different kits, ensuring shelves are stocked for the next day.
- Labels blood pour off tubes, urine cups, kit boxes, UPS lab packs, and UPS envelopes.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
