About The Position

FoodScience in Waterbury, VT is looking to hire a full-time Picking & Packing Agent. No prior experience is needed, as we provide on-the-job training for this position. You will be picking and packing high-quality nutritional supplements for humans and pets. You’ll work in our Waterbury distribution center with an amazing team and be trained to do all aspects of the position. You’ll also be trained on our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Guidelines associated with your duties.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. while bending, twisting, and/or squatting.
• Hard-working and dependable.
• Ability to learn how to use handheld scanners.
• Ability to learn how to use the computer.
• Ability to understand and properly complete necessary paperwork associated with picking orders.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing high-quality nutritional supplements for humans and pets.
• Learning and performing all aspects of the position.
• Training on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Guidelines.
