About The Position

The Shipping Packing Associate is responsible for verifying parts against descriptions on pack lists, counting parts to ensure accurate quantities, and packing parts in boxes to minimize shipping damage. This role may involve using packaging machines and requires proficiency with computers and shipping software. The position may include other duties as assigned by supervision and/or management. Requirements

• Must be reliable.
• Detail-oriented.
• Computer experience required.
• Ability to multitask and work in a high-volume environment.
• Willingness to learn.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working under pressure.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs throughout the day.
• Ability to safely navigate a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods, and perform bending and stooping.
• Regular and consistent attendance is mandatory.

Nice To Haves

• Prior shipping experience preferred.
• Knowledge of UPS/FedEx software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Verify part matches description on pack list.
• Count parts to equal quantities ordered via pack list.
• Pack parts in boxes, minimizing damage during shipping.
• Operate some packaging machines.
