About The Position

ServiceSource, a champion for people with disabilities and a qualified nonprofit agency operating within the AbilityOne program, is hiring Shipping Packers. This role is responsible for assembling medical kits precisely using various components, identifying and recording expiration dates, assisting in packing orders for shipment, and reconciling inventory counts using a first-in, first-out (FI-FO) rotation. Requirements

• High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED).
• Effective internal and external customer service skills.
• Basic ability to operate a computer using tracking software.

Responsibilities

• Assembling Medical Products, including the Corpsman Assault Pack with Content Assemblage (CAPCA), and Forward Resuscitative Surgical System (FRSS), and other medical lines or non-medical product lines.
• Contributing to inventory control, including performing quarterly inventories and reporting any non-compliant expiration dates.
• Preparing shipments to be sent to the customer, including the packing of boxes and the stacking and wrapping of pallets.
• Verifying inbound materials, including checking material against packing slips/PO requests and compliance verification.
• Performing quality control checks on all material prior to shipment.
• Adhering to all fire and safety, bomb threat, and security protocol regulations within the assigned area.
• Performing other responsibilities as assigned.
