Requirements

Experience in shipping, logistics, transportation, or warehouse operations
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of Transportation Management Systems (TMS), SAP, and FourKites is preferred

Responsibilities

Coordinating outbound shipping operations
Managing trailer assignments
Maintaining accurate yard inventory
Serving as the primary point of contact for over-the-road (OTR) drivers
Receive, check in, and assist OTR drivers upon arrival
Assign trailers and coordinate trailer spotting and yard movements
Maintain accurate yard inventory using transportation and warehouse management systems
Plan, monitor, and manage outbound orders using Transportation Management Systems (TMS), FourKites, and SAP
Serve as the primary facility liaison for OTR drivers and transportation carriers
Process driver and trailer check-ins while ensuring accurate documentation
Match trailers to outbound orders and shipping schedules
Monitor and oversee yard assets, including conducting routine yard checks
Communicate effectively with internal departments and external transportation partners to ensure timely shipments
Coordinate trailer pool availability and utilization as directed by leadership
Support shift leadership with daily operational needs and special projects
Perform additional duties as assigned
