About The Position

This position helps oversee the day-to-day operations of the shipping department. The position assigns jobs to the loaders as needed. An employee in this position will work with production managers and supervisors on getting jobs completed on time to ship out. They will also be in direct contact with logistics and customer service on what orders need loaded for weekly routes.

Requirements

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar computer software
Knowledge of Quaker's green screen operating system.
Knowledge of Quaker's shipping labels and paperwork.
Good problem-solving skills
Work well with others

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma
1 Year Prior Experience with Quaker

Responsibilities

Print the Loads Out paperwork
Work with logistics on getting preloads completed on time
Go through the back log to get all pass due jobs out and complete
Comply with safety and housekeeping standards
Verify loaders work safely and follow all standard operating procedures
Prompt and regular attendance at an assigned work location.
Interact with employees and customers in an appropriate manner.
Confer with staff members with whom the employee must interact on a regular basis.
Communicate through email, prepare reports and work schedules.
Review and analyze data and information.
Plan, prioritize and monitor shipping activities.
Complete assigned tasks/projects in a timely manner.
