About The Position

Shipping & Receiving Associate Turbotec, a company of Mueller Industries located in Newton, NC, is actively hiring for a Shipping/Receiving Clerk. Turbotec produces a diverse range of high-performance heat exchangers for virtually any space conditioning or refrigeration application for the geothermal, water heating, solar, heat recovery, and heat pump markets. As a Shipping/Receiving Clerk you will support our warehouse and logistics operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring materials and finished products are accurately received, stored, and shipped in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience
Ability to lift, move, and carry materials as required
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Basic computer and data entry skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience or certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments according to company and carrier requirements
Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials
Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment safely and efficiently
Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas
Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory as needed
Coordinate with production, purchasing, and carriers to ensure timely delivery and shipment
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
